The Innovation Research Park @ ODU was strategically designed to leverage the access, proximity, and infrastructure of Old Dominion University, surrounding federal labs, and military centers to aid companies at every point in their life cycle.

Located within the 75-acre mixed-use University Village complex on the east end of Old Dominion’s campus, IRP@ODU houses life science, technology, medical, clinical and office users in our two-100,000 square foot Class A wet/dry lab and office buildings. IRP@ODU’s flexible work spaces include small office suites, adaptable wet lab suites, as well as pre-built labs and offices that are available with short-term lease options. IRP@ODU is the only combination Class A office and wet/dry lab space available in Hampton Roads that sits within federal and state incentive zones, providing significant benefits to tenants. These incentives are in the form of tax credits, grants, and other assistance.

Fully equipped with a conferencing facility in building II, IRP@ODU offers event space that can seat up to 56 attendees. Since its opening in 2010, the conference facility has hosted tenant meetings, university research center presentations, local thought leader discussions, conferences and round-tables.

IRP@ODU’s strategic location in Norfolk, Virginia provides close proximity to the amenities, services and clients located in downtown, Norfolk International Airport, Norfolk Naval Base, Eastern Virginia Medical School, Portsmouth Naval Medical Center and the Port of Virginia.
